The holistic perspective as described by Johnson & Christensen present key points in my expected analysis of the data that I gather. This qualitative research will "focus on complex interdependencies and system dynamics that cannot meaninfully be reduced to a few discrete variables and linear, cause and effect relationships" (p. 393).
I will be offering a variety of assessment tools to be used when appropriate for the class. There will be a survey for teachers, pre and post-tests for students and a rubric specific to the class that is being taught (VoiceThread, photography, etc.).
